Welcoming 2025: A Year of Resilience, Renewal, and Gratitude

As we step into 2025, I can’t help but reflect on the transformative journey that 2024 brought us. It was a year of change, resilience, and ultimately, renewal. The global economy began its slow climb toward recovery, and as often happens, the art world—having been one of the first to face budget cuts—felt the impact profoundly. Yet, from these challenges came remarkable opportunities for reinvention.

In the past year, we made significant strides in reshaping how we connect with the world. We reimagined our social media presence, ensuring it better reflects the depth and purpose of our work. A new website is in the pipeline—stay tuned! And I’m thrilled to share that we opened a new studio in Miami, while also fully reopening our studios in Ottawa and Toronto. Each of these spaces reflects my commitment to creating art that matters, not as a franchise but as a traveling artist who dedicates focused time and energy to every project.

For those curious about the philosophy that drives my work, I invite you to read my first blog entry on The Power of Attention (https://www.jerome.art/soul-shutter/the-power-of-attention).

Despite the highlights, this past year wasn’t without its uncertainties. Resilience was key as we navigated uncharted waters, holding onto the belief that tomorrow could bring brighter opportunities. And it has. The dawn of 2025 brings a renewed focus on creating an even better experience for our clients. This year is about shedding the weight of the past—whether that’s old baggage or financial debts—so we can create freely and with light hearts.

As we embark on this new chapter, I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you who have supported us—not just this past year but throughout our 23 years in business in Canada. Your trust and encouragement mean the world to me, and it’s what drives me to continue pushing boundaries and delivering work that resonates.

Here’s to a year filled with creativity, connection, and growth. Wishing you all a joyful and prosperous 2025!

With gratitude,
Jerome Scullino
